Wenn Du das 4 kHz Collins-Filter meinst: Das ist ganz OK, da ist die
große Lücke 2,1 und 5,4 kHz geschlossen. Da braucht man etwas in der
Mitte. Allerdings ist ein Murata-Filter nur unwesentlich schlechter als
die Collins-Filter, kostet aber nur ein Drittel dessen, was das
Collins-Filter kostet.

Wenn Du Deinen 7030 aber mit weiteren Filtern aufrüsten willst, dann
empfehle ich Dir Quarzfilter. Die kosten zwar noch mehr als
Collins-Filter, zusätzlich brauchst Du noch das Daughterboard, aber das
ist eine vernünftige Lösung. Für einen 7030 gibt es nichts Besseres als
ein 2,4 kHz Quarzfilter.

The Collins filters offered by AOR are from the low cost series.
The Feb. 1998 Collins data sheet shows a 300Hz filter, 526-8733-010.
  The specs are -3dB BW  300+/-60Hz, -60dB BW 1kHz max,
  insertion loss 10dB max
The comparable specs for the 500Hz filter, 526-8693-010 are:
  The specs are -3dB BW  500+/-100Hz, -60dB BW 2kHz max,
  insertion loss 6dB max
Note the large increase in insertion loss in the 300Hz filter.  I do not
if AOR supply or even recommend this filter.  I believe that they are
available from International Radio at <http://www.qth.com/inrad/>

Today Collins has four different packaging configurations:
   LP   metal case     upto 12 resonators
   PL   plastic case    upto 12 resonators
   FP   metal case     upto 8 resonators
   PS   plastic case    upto 8 resonators, low cost series
The AR7030 board is drilled to accept the PS series.
There are Collins filters and Collins filters.  My spec. sheet shows
some 12
resonator filters with -3dB BW of 2.90kHz, and -60dB BW of 4.3kHz max.
The narrower filters have fewer resonators, and hence poorer shape
factors.
If you are able to buy them, the high spec. filters are very expensive.

The 7030 has an optional daughter board which will accept crystal
filters
