The news comes from BDXC @ Groups.io and originally was from the BBC website
blog. Kieran Clifton announced a further 18 MW closures covering England
Scotland and Wales. It was announced today - 13 January 2020. Thanks also go
to Dave Kenny for his analysis of the initial announcement.

The closures will take place between February and the middle of this year.

Above my 1kW threshold are the following due to close. Each has already been
"oranged" on my Active spreadsheet (carrying the colour and messages re
pending closure).

In England - Fareham 999kHz, Liverpool - Wallasey 1485kHz,
Newcastle-on-Tyne - Wrekenton 1458kHz, Norwich - Postwick 855kHz, and
Redruth - Lanner Hill 630kHz.

In Scotland - Aberdeen - Redmoss 810kHz, and Dumfries 585kHz.

In Wales - Forden 882kHz, Llandrindod Wells 1125kHz, and Tywyn 882kHz.

Further announcements will come re exact closure dates.
