I agree with Christoph, the Qodosen DX-286 is an excellent potable solution at a low price. The FM reception is outstanding, however, if SSB reception is of certain importance, you have to look for an alternative. For traveling, I prefer the Tecsun PL-990x. It has a pretty good sound, ext.antenna connection (also for medium wave!), SW from 1711 kHz - 29999 kHz,  features usb/lsb, various bandwidths, bluetooth and has also a card slot for your own music collection. Short- and medium wave reception is quite good, FM is okay, but not as good as with the  Qodosen. It is significantly more expensive than the Qodosen, at the end of the day it depends on your needs…

Radios with several KW bands have not been around for a long time. I would recommend a small Qodosen DX-286 and a small portable recorder. This is the simplest and cheapest solution.

Radios mit mehreren KW Bändern gibt es schon lange nicht mehr. Ich würde zu einem kleinen Qodosen DX-286 raten und dazu einen kleinen tragbaren Rekorder. Das ist die einfachste und günstigste Lösung.
