~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
{AI}:
Bei einem Short-Skip 90 MHz / 440 km brauchst man eine vertikale
Grenzfrequenz foEs von ca. 39–41 MHz
(wie eben berechnet, sec⁡(i)≈2,2\sec(i) \approx 2{,}2\sec(i) \approx
2{,}2–(2{,}3)).
Die oblique MUF (die schräge MUF) hängt stark vom Einfallswinkel ab:
Kurzer Pfad (440 km) → kleiner sec⁡(i)\sec(i)\sec(i) → MUF nur wenig
höher als foEs
Langer Pfad (nahe Maximum, ca. 2200–2300 km) → sec⁡(i)\sec(i)\sec(i)
maximal ca. 5,5–5,6
Rechnung für denselben Es-Cloud:
foEs≈40 MHz×5,5≈220 MHz\text{foEs} \approx 40\,\text{MHz} \times 5{,}5
\approx \mathbf{220\,\text{MHz}}\text{foEs} \approx 40\,\text{MHz}
\times 5{,}5 \approx \mathbf{220\,\text{MHz}}
Das heißt:
Eine Es-Schicht, die 90 MHz auf nur 440 km schafft, hat eine so hohe
Elektronendichte, dass sie auf normalen/langen Single-Hop-Strecken eine
Pfad-MUF von über 200 MHz (oft 210–230 MHz) ermöglichen würde.
Genau deshalb sagen erfahrene DXer bei extremen Short-Skips auf Band II:
„Das entspricht MUF weit über 200 MHz“. Es ist die äquivalente bzw. die
potenzielle MUF der Wolke, nicht die MUF des kurzen Pfades selbst.
Zusammengefasst: für den 440-km-Pfad: MUF ≥ 90 MHz (offensichtlich)
Intensität der Wolke: foEs ≈ 40 MHz → maximale Single-Hop-MUF ≈ 220 MHz
Benötigtes foEs für 90 MHz bei verschiedenen Entfernungen
Annahme: Es-Höhe h = 105 km, Erdradius = 6371 km
