The Voice of Biafra International will start broadcasting on  
shortwave as of
September 1, 2001. Programming will be in Igbo and English and is  
directed
towards Nigeria. In the beginning, programs will air on Saturdays  
only from
19.00 to 20.00 UTC on 12.120 kHz. The organization behind the  
broadcasts is
The Biafra Foundation, based in Washington, D.C. More information
