Radio 555 has its own Website
The special one-day Dutch radio station Radio 555, which operates tomorrow to raise money for the Tsunami disaster fund, has its own Website at www.radio555.nl with programming information and details of how to donate money. The site, which is in Dutch, mentions that the studio will be shown live on the Nederland 2 television network from 0500-1600 UTC.

Dutch broadcasters unite to raise money for disaster relief

Thursday 6th January will be a very special day in Dutch broadcasting. Yorin 
FM, RTL FM, Radio Veronica, Noordzee FM, Radio 10 Gold and Radio 538, as well as public broadcaster 3FM, will carry the same programming from 0500-1930 Dutch time under the name Radio 555, to raise money for the Tsunami disaster relief fund. 555 is the giro number to which contributions can be sent. The news bulletins will be prepared jointly by journalists from the public and commercial broadcasters. Regular updates will be broadcast on the progress of the fundraising. The radio programmes, which will come from studio 22 in Hilversum, will be co-presented in mostly two hour blocks by two presenters from different stations, as follows (times UTC):

0500-0700 Winston Gerschtanowitz [Noordzee FM] and Rene Verkerk [Radio 10 Gold]
0700-0900 Edwin Evers [Radio 538] and Rob van Someren [Radio Veronica]
0900-1100 Rob Stenders [Yorin FM] and Claudia de Breij [3FM]
1100-1300 Peter Holland [Radio 10 Gold] and Kas van Iersel [Radio Veronica]
1300-1500 Henk Westbroek [Yorin FM] and Roland Snoeijer [RTL FM]
1500-1700 Wouter van der Goes [3FM] and Ruud de Wild [Radio 538]
1700-1900 Robert Jensen [Yorin FM] and Edwin Evers [Radio 538]
1900-2100 Radio 555 concert at Dam Square, Amsterdam [also broadcast on TV by TMF, and repeated from midnight on Nederland 2]

Other stations will broadcast their regular programming, but will denote all their advertising income for the day to the fund. These stations are Sky Radio, KINK FM, BNR Nieuwsradio, Classic FM, Arrow Rock Radio, Arrow 90.7 FM, City FM, Rebecca Radio, ID&T Radio and Hot Radio.

A special joint fundraising programme will also be broadcast on Thursday evening by public and commercial TV channels Nederland 2, RTL4 and SBS6, and will be broadcast worldwide by BVN-TV.
