Vor ein paar Tagen in der "Daily Mail" London:

BBC's radio for Gypsies

The BBC is launching a radio show specifically for Gypsies. The two- hour weekly programme will be 'produced by and for the travelling community' and has caused outrage among radio listeners.

Rokker Radio, which means 'Talk Radio' in the Romani language, will be broadcast on BBC Three Counties Radio, which covers Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire and Buckinghamshire.

One email sent anonymously to the station's Internet message board labels the show a 'total waste of time and money'. Another asks:'How more stupidly correct is the BBC going to get?' But presenter Jake Brower said:'Around 80 percent of the travelling community live a static existence and all of these people pay for their TV licence too.'

73,
Paul
