One day after sending my report I received an acknowledgement from George
McClintock requesting that I check 4845 kHz between 0400 and 0900 UT as he
had received reports that a WTWW spur there was causing interference to WWCR
on 4840 kHz. When Mauritania wasn't on 4845 kHz, at times I could hear a man
speaking on about 4845.2 kHz. It was barely audible so, although a man was
also speaking on 5755 kHz, I was unable to determine if it was the same
program.
