15120  Die Relaystation Trincomalee der Deutschen Welle überträgt (täglich?)
ein Programm von SLBC Colombo in Singalesisch für die Schar der 16.000
Gastarbeiter [migrant workers] in Süd Korea.

Registriert ist zwar Ekala in Singalesisch auf 15120 kHz 35 kW in  Richtung
80 Grad um 1030-1130 UT in CIRAF Zone 19 [das war mal vor 40 Jahren Richtung
UdSSR, North of 60 deg, 30-50 deg East definiert].

Auf meine Nachfrage bei Victor in Colombo kam aber die Bestätigung für die
Nutzung von Trincomalee anstatt.

Yes Wolfy, I saw the HFCC registration, but DW is transmitting the
programme from Trinco.

The broadcast from 1030-1130 UTC is transmitted from the
Deutsche Welle Trincomalee facility on 15120 kHz and is heard in
Sri Lanka on FM 92.2 MHz.

but registration differs as Ekala instead...

Ekala in Sinhala on 15120 kHz 35 kW at 80 degrees at 1030-1130 UT to zone
19 [latter towards USSR, North of 60 deg, 30-50 deg East].

The broadcast from 1030-1130 UTC is transmitted from the DW
Trincomalee facility on 15120 kHz and is heard in Sri Lanka on FM
92.2 MHz. The programme is in Sinhala. SW frequency and FM both
confirmed by live monitoring in Colombo with cchannel AWR from
1030-1100 then in the clear.

The Service to the Middle East in Sinhala is on the air daily
1630-1830 UTC on 11750 kHz.
