auch auf 4660 kHz vor 1857 UT ??
Sfax Anlage liegt nur 1,2 km vom Mittelmeer entfernt, die Korrosion der 3 Jahrzehnte hat bestimmt den Antennen und Feedern zugesetzt. wb

UNID 7105 Since some days now I listen a BC transmitting Arabic music
and talking station on 7105 kHz. The BC usually starts at 1857 UT and ends
at 2127 UTC.

Who can listen on the QRG and report to me

TUNISIA 4660 RTT Sfax Tunis intermodulation at 1938 UT with Arabic
songs (old), 1938 UT OM with "idaatu wataniya ke tuinisi". Sudden power
off though still heard with S2 strength.
(Zacharias Liangas-GRC, wwdxc BC-DX TopNews Nov 18, 2009)

Not harmonic. No divisors work out to a MW channel. However, 4660 = 12005
minus 7345 kHz, two well-known Sfax channels, which must both have been on
the air tho 7345 kHz supposedly does not start until 2000. Please check
them both next time.

7105 / 7225 / 7345 / 7465? kHz 40 mb Intermodulation.

UNID Saharan radio station on 7105 kHz, 1900-2100 UT.
Hi dear Tarek, may you can listen to the attached recording on PERSEUS
7105 kHz at 2100 UT, Dec 7th,

Announced with Saharan string instrument music and like "Radio ???Adar???"
ID ? from Tunis / Libya / Sahara area [Chad / Sudan], observed scheduled
approx. 1900-2100 UTC

I hear also something mentioned "Mauritania" on the recording ??
(wb, wwdxc BC-DX TopNews Dec 8, 2009)

The tones sound similar to Chad interval signal. Hard to say, I'm sure
Tarek can tell us what they are saying.
(Jari Savolainen-FIN, Dec 8, 2009)

Hello my friends, sorry for the late reply, this is RTT Tunisia. I didn't
understand what the lady was saying to be honest, but the announcer
started with the brief news, he started the news by saying the name of the
Tunisian President Zen Alabdeen Ben Ali.

Wonder what are they doing on that freq ???
all the best guys

Mixing product! 7345 kHz leapfrog over 7225 kHz another 120 kHz down.
(Glenn Hauser-OK-USA, Dec 8, 2009)

Many, many thanks to Tarek Zeidan SU1TZ.
I had similar thoughts some 4 weeks ago - after B-09 season started - ,
when the IARU Bandwatch asked me on this matter. I calculated all Arabic
and non-Arabic transmission frequencies of IRIB Tehran Kamalabad and
Sirjan ... and had a glimpse also on the 7 MHz frequencies of Tunisia ...

This is a 'normal' intermodulation on Tunisian tx location Sfax, both
programs seemingly identical, no time and program difference echo noted so
far.

In 1430 kilometers distance, and approx. 176 degrees direction, here in
south-western Germany location.

7225 to Europe[and NoAM?] and 7345 kHz to Nord-West / West Africa, Sahara
area.

7105 of RTT Sfax Tunisia but possibly also via symmetrical 7465 kHz too.
[7465 Albania frequency ! ]

7225 RTV.TUNISIA 1800-2210 daily Arabic 500kW 340degr Sfax TUN RTT b09
7345 RTV.TUNISIA 2000-0010 daily Arabic 500kW 265degr Sfax TUN RTT b09
(aoki list)

No exact transmission schedule of RTT Tunis, rather very lax and easy-
going on their Start- and Stop times.

If the log time 19-21 UT on 7105 kHz is correct, start on 7345 kHz should
be already at 1900 UT, and 7225 kHz ends already at v2110 UT Stop time.
