On KBC's 6095 kHz frequency, I hear ads for something that sounds
like "Super-Co" or "Super-Coat."

Actually, it's SuperCove. A "cove" is the moulding where an
interior wall meets the ceiling.

SuperCove "is faced with a high quality paperboard" rather than
plaster.
