ach, da sind einige Herren mit Kopfschmerzen aufgestanden ?

Man erkannte nicht den Text 'Totale im Jahr 2081'  ,
dies galt meine Frage nach dem jüngsten A-DX Leser,
der dies bestimmt noch erleben wird.

Für mich war schon am 11. August 1999 Schlussakt,
nur 1.2 km von hier fuehrte die Center-Linie entlang.
0930 bis 1230 UT intensive Beobachtung,
obwohl lokal nur 12 Minuten während,
nicht nur auf MW aufregend,
sondern auch auf allen Kurzwellenbändern.

On Friday 20 March a total solar eclipse will occur across northerly
stretches of Europe and the Arctic.

This will provide an interesting DX window.

Some DX frequencies that it might be
interesting to check during the eclipse

 153 kHz  NRK, Ingøy, Norway
 189 kHz  RUV, Gufuskalar, Iceland
 207 kHz  RUV, Eidar, Iceland
 531 kHz  Fringvarp Føroya, Faroe Islands
 590 kHz  VOCM, Newfoundalnd
 650 kHz  KNR, Qeqertarsuaq, Greenland
1400 kHz  CBC R1, Gander, Newfoundland
1485 kHz  NRK, Longyearbyen, Svalbard
6070 kHz  CFRX Toronto (News Radio1010),
6160 kHz  CKZN, Newfoundland (CBC R 1)

UK MW frequencies to check. It will be interesting to also monitor UK
frequencies on MW particularly from the north: BBC Radio Scotland on 585,
990 and 810 kHz; R4 Aberdeen on 1449, commercial stations in Scotland on
1035, 1107, 1152, 1161, 1548 kHz. Also, from Northern Ireland, Radio BBC
Radio Ulster on 1341, Foyle on 792, Downtown on 1026 kHz and Radio North on
846 kHz, Manx Radio on 1368 kHz.

Listeners in the south of England could also check for stations in the north
of England and vice versa. During the eclipse you may hear stations which
are not normally audible during the daytime but which can be heard at night.

Diese siehst Du nicht in Deutschland sondern auf den Faröern! 189, 209 und
531 kHz beobachten.
