Moin, moin, wer es noch nicht anderweitig gelesen hat, seit gestern Abend 23.22 UT ist die im Frühjahr neu errichtete 500 KW Station WBCQ TX #6 offiziell in der Luft. Bisher wurde seit der Errichtung meist mit reduzierter Leistung von 135 kW getestet. Der Sender ist ein US Continental, die drehbare Antenne ist Made in Germany/Switzerland von Ampegon Schifferstadt/Turgi. Dies vom Standort Monticello, ME / Maine, USA aus, ganz im Nordosten der USA an der Grenze zur kanadischen Provinz New Brunswik, nur 200 km vom ex RCI Sackville Standort entfernt. Die Oldtimer werden sich noch an die äußerst starken Signale aus Sackville erinnern. Man beachte die unterschiedlichen Feldstärken, je nach Abstrahlungs-Azimuth.
