FRANCE  5970.000 kHz exact.
Thanks Alan,
today Wed Aug 26 noted French accented English weather report on air in
progress,
S=9+35 or -38dBm strong powerhouse signal here in southern Germany.

Seems via TDF Issoudun bcast center, azimuth westwards to Azores Atlantic
Ocean of sailing race sport event - millionaire's spectacle ?

9 kHz wide audio block, report read til 15.24 UT,
then followed some pop mx orchestra music piece til 15.25:23 UT,
empty carrier still on air at S=9+35dB strength til
TX  OFF_switch at 15.30:01 UT sharp.

Remained on same 5970 kHz channel BBC London via Al Seela bcast site in 
Oman,
Pashto sce to AFG.  S=5 or -91dBm sidelobe signal here in southern Germany.

Nice steep radiation fountain hobby radio station signals
found at same time towards western Europe in 49 mb:
S=9+5dB signals
5920 of HCJB Weenermoor NoWeGermany,
6005 of Kall Eifel outlet,
6070 of Ingolstadt Waal Bavaria
6150 of disguised operation Schalke 05 in Geelsenkirchen.
