So, in my mind at least, it seems the real questions become;
"Does the CR-1a perform well as it exists today accepting the 
possibility of no future software updates?" and "Is the CR-1a worth $600 
in light of competing price range radios with similar features, form 
factor?"
...

So, wie das aussieht, wird es wohl keine Softwareupdates mehr geben. Wie 
diese Aussage von Don Moore mit seinen letztjährigen Ankündigungen 
weiterer Updates incl. Erscheinungstermin korreliert, möge jeder selber 
bewerten. Persönlich halte ich die ganze Sache für den kommunikativen 
Super-GAU. Schade...
