My experience with SIBC as I described in DX fanzine No. 78 of February 2020, 5020 kHz: N/D E-mail statement after 5 years and many F/Ups. Here the full story. “Received with thanks. SIBC”. With only those three words after several follow-ups, the Solomon Island Broadcasting Corporation “verified” my reception report dated back as 13th November 2015. Ironically the e-mail address of Patrick Tibaua, ptibaua-at-sibc.com.sb , Chief engineer, who sent in the past a number of QSLs, bounced. Not the same for the company e-mail address sibcnews-at-solomon.com.sb from which the short reply came one day after my last follow up sent on 9th February 2020. Of course, that is not a QSL but as a fellow Italian DXer, Roberto Pavanello, says it’s better than nothing. To be honest, QSLs today can’t be seen as proof that you really heard a DX station. We know that reception reports quite often in recent years were acknowledged with a QSL without really verifying that details coincide with the station logbook. For this reason QSL cards today must be seen as a souvenir from a station broadcasting from a remote place rather than the irrefutable proof that you really listened to a radio station. Oggetto: [A-DX] Bestätigung Solomon Islands

Nach Jahren vergeblicher Versuche, eine Bestätigung per email oder snail
zu bekommen, hat es jetzt über Facebook geklappt.
Der Text

'Thank you for your report. I can confirm your report to be truly from
SIBC'

ist für mich erst einmal ausreichend.
