KSKO Public Radio 89.5 FM  Mc Grath, Alaska now goes live hot on SW over 
Europe every  Monday, 22.00-00.00 UTC on Spaceline's Bulgaria 5900 kHz 
shortwave, with Paul B Walker Jr..  Just before and after The Overcomer 
Ministry scheduled on the same channel every day and the other 
transmissions we have on the same frequency.
Even requests for songs could be made,  so reach them while on-air on 
KSKO FB: KSKO Public Radio 89.5 FM to ask for a favorite song or just 
say them hello.
Stay tuned to 5900, listen and send reception reports to all the 
broadcasters on 5900 to keep it as hot as it is now.

USA/Bulgarien: Offenbar ohne Ankündigung konnte am 18. April 2022, 
22.00-24.00 Uhr auf der Kurzwelle Kostinbrod 5900 kHz statt des 
Overcomer Ministry ein Relais der Public Radio Station KSKO-FM McGrath 
in Zentralalaska beobachtet wurde. Wie der Journalist und 
Kurzwellenfreund Paul Walker (alaskaradionerd @ fastmail.com) später 
bestätigte, soll das Relais bis auf Weiteres (at least for a few months) 
montags 22.00-24.00 Uhr auf 5900 kHz fortgesetzt werden. KSKO 
(https://www.kskopublicradio.com/ mit Stream bei 
http://peridot.streamguys.com:7550/live) begann 1981 auf der Mittelwelle 
870 kHz. Der Betrieb des Dieselgenerators der Sendeanlage außerhalb des 
Ortes wurde zu teuer. Seit 2015 sendet man auf UKW. In McGrath und bei 
den Umsetzern an Schulen der weiteren Region kommt der Strom aus dem 
öffentlichen Netz. Diese Aktion von Paul Walker ist nicht die erste. Im 
Juli 2021 gab es eine zweistündige Friday Night Request Show auf drei 
Kurzwellen von WRMI Okeechobee (Florida). Damals betonte Walker, dass er 
die Aktion aus eigener Tasche bezahlt und kein Geld der Station dafür

Good Wednesday Morning! Lets take a look at what's going on for November 
2nd.
Snow today, up to 3 inches accumulation, highs near the mid teens and 
lows around 5 above.
If you need a flu shot, the McGrath Health Center is holding a flu shot

The McGrath Library is open 1 to 5pm weekdays now. They offer lots of

One thing we’ve been working hard on over the summer and fall here at 
KSKO is adding more music into the system.
In the next few weeks and month or two you should notice a lot more 
country in the morning show with alot more variety from artists you know 
and love along with some lesser knowns.
I’m also working on tweaking the afternoon music a little bit for more 
variety. We’ve been adding lots of oldies, rock n roll and classic hits 
type music.  I adjusted the afternoon music but for some reason the 
computer has had a propensity to spit out Motown over and over, and 
that’s not what I intended to happen so I’m tweaking it a bit more to 
try and get more oldies and rock n roll in there with all the music of 
that get genre which we added over the summer.  We added tons of 60s 70s 
and 80s that wasn’t Motown, I promise you.
