Ghita Dragan - short history of the radio station ALTFM March 14, 2002 
it received the authorization to broadcast Radio CNM 1602 kh. The first 
show - March 16, 2002 at 7 am. They started with 8 hours of transmission 
per day, within a year they ended up transmitting 24 hours per day. In 
November 2008, they received a better frequency and moved to a better 
studio on Sinaia Street. In total, they have 6 studios at high 
performance standards, with 4 of them being for production. In March 
2009, the CNM transmission is interrupted and the ALT-FM transmission is 
started, with a new slogan: We take an attitude in altitude. "ALT-FM is 
the voice of God for Arad, Romania and the whole world. The post is 
interfaith and interethnic.
With programs from the 3 churches in Arad: the Baptist, Adventist and 
Pentecostal churches.
With broadcasts in *Hungarian* and Romanian.
It is the only station in Romania that does this. The fast is heard at 
the Arad Penitentiary. An important segment for Radio ALT-FM is the 
"sick man"; the radio station reaches these suffering people and 
supports them. People with very difficult and serious problems found 
their friend in need.
