SDRplay is pleased to announce the official release of SDRuno for the 
RSP. SDRuno is the new name for the RSP compatible version of Studio1, 
the rights to which we obtained and announced on 28th April. SDRuno 
contains native support for the SDRplay RSP and no extra plugins are 
required. Third party hardware can also be supported via the ExtIO 
interface, but with reduced functionality

SDRplay freut sich, die offizielle Veröffentlichung von SDRuno für die 
RSP bekannt zu geben. SDRuno ist der neue Name für die RSP-kompatible 
Version von Studio1, deren Rechte wir am 28. April erhalten und bekannt 
gegeben haben. SDRuno enthält native Unterstützung für das SDRplay RSP 
und es sind keine zusätzlichen Plugins erforderlich. Über die 
ExtIO-Schnittstelle kann auch Hardware von Drittanbietern unterstützt 
werden, jedoch mit eingeschränkter Funktionalität.

SDRuno ist der Nachfolger von Studio1, RSP-gedongelt. (SDR-Empfänger als 
Dongle)

Studio1 hat einen "allgemeinen" USB-Dongle, ohne Empfangsfunktion.
Die Entwicklung dieser Software wurde im April 2015 (auf W8.1 Niveau) 
zugunsten von SDRuno eingestellt also kurz vor Veröffentlichung W10.
("Microsoft Windows 10 gehört zur Windows-Familie von Betriebssystemen 
mit grafischer Benutzeroberfläche des US-Unternehmens Microsoft.
Der Nachfolger von Windows 8.1 wurde am 29. Juli 2015 veröffentlicht.")

Das Problem war die Funktionalität von Dongle-Treibern nach OS Win7, 
NICHT die Funktionalität der Software selbst.

Das es für die mehr als 10 Jahre alten Dongles noch einen Treibersupport 
für W11 gibt gleicht schon fast einer Sensation.

- Sogar eine zum Original absolut identische Kopie des Datenträgers ist 
ohne Dongle nicht lauffähig. So kann der Softwarehersteller dem Anwender 
gestatten, eine Sicherheitskopie der Programm-CD/-DVD/-Blu-ray 
anzufertigen, ohne Raubkopien befürchten zu müssen. Wird der Dongle 
allerdings beschädigt oder geht er verloren, funktioniert die Software 
auch auf dem Computer ihres rechtmäßigen Besitzers nicht mehr.
(oder wenn es keine neuen Treiber für aktuelle OS gibt...)
- Durch die Dongleherstellung werden mehr Ressourcen verbraucht, und es 
entsteht mehr Elektroschrott.
