Auszug: Thank you very much for your reception report and letter dated 31.12.2023
I' m sorry about this late answer but the sadly close down of DR's LW transmitter has generated far more reception report than I have ever received- more than 100 now. That's of course positive but since I want to answer all reports it will take some month.

As a special token I add a QSL photo of DR's LW transmitter site with this letter(farbig, in DIN A-4 Format).
The foto is taken by me while my engineering colleagua was the pilot.

Even if the last LW broadcast day on 31. 12. here was a sad day I had the pleasure of getting a visit the same day by a *german DX'er 14 years old and his parents. It made the day even  mor special for me and my wife who joined the transmitter close down. My wife has been a broadcaster by FEBC in Manila. For a period of 2 years I joined FEBC's engineering section from 1991- 1993 working with both SW, MW and FM transmitters and antenna systems.

Next month it will be interesting to follow what's going to happened with BBC's LW station on 198 kHz.

War mal bei FEBC in Manila beschäftigt und ist schon gespannt was mit der BBC LW 198 kHz demnächst passiert.
(Die antworten bestimmt auch so freundlich und ausgiebig wie J Ch Seeberg auf EB-nehme ich mal an.)

Es dauert noch bis alle Empfangsberichte bestätigt werden sein.
Am letzten Sendertag gab es *Besuch aus Deutschland von einem 14-jährigen DX-er plus Eltern.

Kuvert war mit einer 50 DK Kronen Briefmarke frankiert.

Ps.: Da werde ich mich wohl aus Höflichkeit mit einer privaten Ostergrußkarte bedanken .
Die zweite Osterkarte geht dann vielleicht an die BBC LW
