broadcasting on December 10, 1994 and was known as Zwickau 96 Punkt 2
from 1999 until July 22, 2007.
Radio Zwickau's mantle program is produced by Broadcast Sachsen GmbH &
Co. KG, which also supplies Antenne Sachsen and Hitradio RTL. Only the
local news for Zwickau is produced directly in Zwickau. The station's
repertoire with the claim “The sound for Zwickau town and country”
mainly includes music from the 1980s to the present day.
