*Taiwan's Presidential Election and China-Taiwan Relations

 The upcoming presidential election in Taiwan has turned out to be a duel
 between incumbent President Chen Shuibian of the Democratic Progressive
 Party and Nationalist Party leader Lien Chan, the candidate backed by a
 unified opposition. Balloting is set for Mar. 20 and, depending on the
 outcome, it could greatly affect the future of relations between China and
 Taiwan. This segment examines the election results and takes a look at the
 future of China-Taiwan relations and the situation in East Asia.
