Hallo,
Spectrum Lab für Perseus ist verfügbar. Danke an Wolf! Hier das Mail aus der
SpecLab-Group.
Gerhard

"Greetings everyone,

I have just uploaded a new "beta"-version of Spectrum Lab to my website.

Most important for those who have this radio: SL now natively supports
PERSEUS, a direct sampling receiver "made in Italy" by Microtelecom,
covering 10 kHz to 30 MHz, or 40 MHz without the preselector.

You can download the new SpecLab (version 2.71 build 8) from here:

http://dl4yhf.ssl7.com/speclab/install_speclab_beta.zip

Beware:
The PERSEUS support in Spectrum Lab is in a very early development stage. At
least, on my own PC (notebook with 1.8 GHz Intel dual core), it works even
at PERSEUS' highest sampling rate: 1 MSample/second of I/Q data, giving a
usable bandwidth of 800 kHz - at the expense of a high CPU load.
For most "narrow band" applications, use 125 kSamples/second. More info on
how to run SpecLab with PERSEUS is in the manual, look for html\perseus.htm
after installation (you will need to install the
*latest* Perseus USB drivers from the original PERSEUS CDROM, and copy a few
other files which are *not* part of the SpecLab installation).

Furthermore, there is a new function called "Spectrum Playback". It can be
used to make data in the spectrogram buffer audible, using an inverse FFT to
transform the FFT-chunks back into the time domain; with optional filtering
and pitch shift. So you can actually listen to the signals you see on the
waterfall screen, as often as you like. To use it, first mark the region of
interest in the spectrogram (hold left mouse button pressed to drag the red
marker frame), then select the function "Replay from Spectrum Buffer" in the
popup menu which appears. There is an extra control panel for this function;
click the "Help" button in it to find more details.

Any suggestions and test reports are welcome.

Best regards,
  Wolf DL4YHF ."
