AW: [A-DX] Petition Radio Netherlands

... nur "aus Gesellschaft" eine sehr kurze Begründung, warum ich diesem Aufruf zu Sicherung von Arbeitsplätzen bei der Verbreitung von (weitgehend) regierungsfrommen Programmen nicht beizutreten vermag:

Weitgehend unbegriffen zu sein scheint die Transformation der Medien von einem Distributions- zu einem Kommunikationsmedium. Das finde ich viel spannender als das ewige Gemähre von Journalisten, die "freedom and democracy" im Schilde führen und doch nur um die Abzahlung der Hypotheken für ihr klein Häuschen besorgt sind. Dass sie selbst in dieser Situation immer noch nicht verstanden haben, dass die ihnen staatlicherseits zugedachte Funktion als "nützliche Idioten im ideologischen Kampf" längst erfüllt ist und sie nur etwas später ins Gras beißen dürfen als ihre Ostkollegen, spricht nicht gerade dafür, dass sie sich bei dem o.g. Transformationsprozess groß einbringen können. Sie sollten die großzügigen Segnungen der Abfindungen staatlicher Institutionen in aller Stille aufgreifen, genießen und mit dem immer noch stattlichen Rest ihr Erwerbsleben neu ordnen.

Das klingt, vor allem in dieser Kürze, recht unfreundlich. Aber ich wollte nur und in wirklich aller Klarheit meinen Standpunkt in dieser "Debatte" (die ja auch um die Deutsche Welle "entbrannt" ist) verdeutlichen. Gerade als Auch-Journalist.
