UKRAINE   On February 1, almost all MW transmitters ceased their work, which
broadcast programs of Ukrainian radio in different parts of our country.
This is reported by the long-term observer over the air and the lover of
long-distance reception Alexander Egorov. In particular, according to
Alexander's observation, the following frequencies are silent:

657 kHz (UR1), 837 kHz (UR1), 1278 kHz (UR3 "Culture"), 1404 kHz (UR1) and
1431 kHz (VSRU in Russian).

Transmitter UR1 at 549 kHz operates as before from 6:00 to 24:00 (Local
Time).

Let's remind, earlier the management of the Ukrainian radio repeatedly
complained about shortage of financing and warned, that it can entail
switching off of separate transmitters

February 2, at 2115 UTC. 765 kHz Mayak Odessa works perfectly and
UR1 Luch Mykolaiev 549 kHz audibly loud.
It seems that only these two frequencies remain.
