Gibt denn der Sendeplan der VoMongolia ein gewisses Zeitfenster der Inaktivität bis 10 bzw. 11:15 für einen Empfangsversuch nach Vanuatu her? 73 Thomas -----Original Message----- Date: Sun, 21 Dec 2008 03:38:03 +0100 Subject: Re: [A-DX] Re: [A-DX] Loggings --> Vanuatu ? From: "Wolfgang Bueschel" To: "A-DX-Liste" Mongolei ist -auch- plausibel. Siehe unten, macht Euch einen Reim darauf. Der Techniker von R NZi pendelt zwischen Vanuatu und den Solomons ... 73 wb VANUATU 7260 on 22 Oct at 0800 UT. Interested to hear this at very good strength with reports that it is still on low power at present. Switched to En news at 0801 UT after anns in LG. "News from VBC" with many Vanuatu mentions. (Tony Ward VE3NO, touring Auckland-NZ, DXplorer Nov 1, 2008) VANUATU 7259.97 R. Vanuatu (pres), at 0835-0859 UT same pgm of island music with studio W host. 0859-0901 UT long canned announcement by M with possible ment of R.V. 0901 studio W briefly, then usual flute signature, and M with apparent news to 0914. 0914 heard the same flute again, then W, and music continued. Stronger than yesterday, but just couldn't copy. (Dave Valko-PA-USA, hcdx Oct 15, 2008) VANUATU 7260 kHz at 0645 UTC tune in with pop music program with female DJ. Could not make much out of the chat but 0700 definite mention of Vanuatu and perhaps a brief 2 minute newscast. Back to pop music program but now with male DJ, and many mentions of Vanuatu. Just above the noise. Sept 28. (Mick Delmage-AB-CAN, DXplorer Sept 28, 2008) VANUATU Vanuatu on 7260 kHz. VTBC Port Vila is currently using a low power modified amateur radio transmitter to broadcast weak signals on 7260 kHz. Reception has been monitored of Pacific style music in the past day or so. The new 10 kW shortwave transmitters are still enroute to Vanuatu. Delivery has been delayed for a variety of reasons, including difficulties obtaining freight space on cargo ships visiting Vila. An RNZI technician has just returned from Vila where preparation work has been underway for installation of the two new DRM/analog transmitters later this year. The frequency of 7260 kHz is one of several registered for VTBC for the new service and the current broadcasts appear to be a prelude to the full service starting as soon as the new transmitters are installed. David Ricquish Radio Heritage Foundation (hcdx, Sept 23, 2008) I did note a weak signal on 7260 at 0810 tune in, music which seemed to be under modulated and what seemed to be a female announcer, slightly better modulated. Most likely Vanuatu as no one else seems to be sked at that time. Checked for a signal again at 1045, still there though very weak, then obliterated by Thailand at 1100 UT, Sept 24. (Steve Lare-MI-USA, dxld Sept 24, 2008) Formerly on 3945 and 7260 kHz. 3945 0530-1000[-1115 excl Sats], 1900-2130. 7260 1900-1000[-1115 excl Sats].
