Danke, Tom, denn ich hatte seine e-mail auf die Schnelle nicht gefunden. Was ich gesehen und gehört habe, waren allerdings zwei Signal mit konstantem Abstand, also nicht wie "üblich" bei WSPR, das ja in MFSK mit wechselnden Abständen funktioniert. Übrigens mit exzellentem Signal-Rausch-Abstand und keineswegs übermoduliert, eigentlich deshalb fielen sie mir auf. 
Nun, wieder ein Rätsel der Menschheit gelöst. Und andere tun sich gewiss wieder auf ...
